<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from the swelling shows a focus of herniated brain tissue (slide A) with surrounding fibrotic meningeal coverings and fibroadipose tissue. Picture is consistent with encephalomeningocele. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Ocipital swelling ? encepahlcele.</p>
<p>One skin elipse measured 4x3.5x2 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Occipital swelling, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Consistent with meningomyelocele</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
