Submitted cores show a fibroepithelial lesion formed of proliferating breast ducts with focal hyperplasia of the lining epithelial ductal cells. Separating stroma is diffusely hyalinized and hypocellular with focal myxoid change. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Picture is consistent with a fibroepithelial lesion which could be a fibroadenoma or benign phyllodes tumor.
