Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Cystic lesion composed of a fibrous connective tissue wall lacking an epithelial lining. The cyst wall is variably thickened and composed of dense collagen bundles with scattered fibroblasts. The lumen contains pale basophilic mucoid material consistent with gelatinous myxoid degeneration. No true synovial lining is identified. No evidence of epithelial atypia or malignancy is seen.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Excision of a recurrent dorsal ganglion cyst.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Cystic soft tissue mass measured 2.5x2x1.7 cm, filled with gelatinous material.</p>
