Sections show cyst lined by single layer of tall columnar mucus secreting cells which are dominantly devoid of atypia, however, in some foci lining cells appear to show tendency for piling up with some nuclear enlargement and hyperchromasia. In some sections wall shows glandular formations lined by same type of cells. This cyst is of borderline malignancy.
Smear show cohesive cell clusters with vacuolated cytoplasm against a mucinous and proteinaceous background. No evidence of malignancy.
