Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Completely encapsulated thyroid neoplasm with a follicular architecture; and trabecular growth represent <30. The tumor cells exhibit characteristic papillary-like nuclear features, including enlargement, crowding, irregular nuclear membranes, grooves, and chromatin clearing. Thorough evaluation of the tumor capsule reveals no evidence of capsular or lymphovascular invasion. Psammoma bodies, tumor necrosis, aggressive cellular morphologies (e.g., tall cell features), and significant mitotic activity are absent.</p>
<p>Rt. thyroid mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. hemithyroidectomy specimen with intact capsule measured 4.8x3.5x2.8 cm. Serial sectioning revealed almost replacement by grey nodule.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. hemithyroidectomy</u></em></strong>:</p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Noninvasive follicular thyroid neoplasm with papillary-like nuclear features (NIFTP). </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Surgical margins are negative. </strong></li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong> Onley follow up is recommended. </strong></p>
