Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium show hyperplastic endometrial glands, are non-secretory, formed of slightly branched glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix shows mild endocervicitis. Both ovaries shows corpora albicans. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Adenomyosis with postmenopausal bleeding.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Panhysterectomy specimen consisted of a uterus measuring 8.5 x 7 x 4.5 cm with a cervix measuring 3 cm in length. Upon sectioning, the trabeculated myometrial wall thickness measured 2.2 cm and the endometrium measured 0.4 cm in thickness. The right and left ovaries measured 2 x 1.5 cm and 1.8 x 1.5 cm, respectively. The right and left fallopian tubes measured 5 cm each in length.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Panhysterectomy</u></em></strong>:</h3><ul><li><strong>Mild simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia</strong></li><li><strong>Superficial adenomyosis .</strong></li><li><strong>Bilateral ovarian corpora albicans. </strong></li><li><strong>Mild endocervicitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Fallopian tubes are unremarkable.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
