Polyp and endometrium are non-secretory and hyperplastic, formed of branching glands exhibiting moderate cystic dilatation with lining by 1-3 layers of cells amid cellular stroma. No evidence of complex pattern, atypia or malignancy. Some of these hyperplastic endometrial glands are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix show Napothian cyts with mild endocervicites. Ovaries and Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.

Panhysterectomy specimen; The uterus measured 8 x 6 x 4 cm, and the cervix measured 2.8 cm in length. On sectioning, the myometrial wall thickness measured 2 cm, and the endometrium measured 0.7 cm in thickness. The endometrial cavity was almost entirely occupied by a grey-colored polypoid mass measuring 2 x 1 cm. The right and left ovaries measured 2 x 1.5 x 1 cm, each, the right and left fallopian tubes measured 5 cm in length, each, all are unremarkable grossly.
