<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from the laryngeal biopsy show acanthotic stratified squamous epithelium lining with preserved surface maturation. The underlying stroma demonstrates fibrous tissue with moderate to dense chronic inflammatory infiltrates. No evidence of recurrence.</p>
<p>Laryngeal biopsy post radiotherapy for recurrent laryngeal cancer.</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.2x1x0.5 cm , totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Laryngeal endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Surface squamous acanthosis with associated chronic non specific inflammation.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for recurrence.</strong></li></ul><h4><br></h4><h4><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></h4><h4>Follow up is recommended.</h4>
