<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from bone show thinned out bone trabeculae with separating widened marrow spaces with hypocellular marrow elements. Focally, bone trabeculae are necrotic and thinned out. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Known case of Rheumatoid Arthritis presenting with chronic hip pain and MRI findings diagnostic of bilateral Avascular Necrosis, core decompression of the left hip was done.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Bone fragments collectively measured 1.2x0.8x0.4 cm, totally embedded.</p>
