Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Section from bladder tumor formed of invasive urothelial carcinoma formed of groups of malignant transitional epithelial cells with areas of tumor show irregular bundles and small groups of dedifferentiated dyshesive elongated cells showing rounded, oval or cigar-shaped vesicular nuclei. Anaplasia is moderate to marked with active mitosis. Areas of tumor necrosis are seen with many bizarre cells. No muscularis propria included to assess stage of the tumor.</p>
<p>Cystoscopic biopsy.</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.2x1x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Bladder mass, cystoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Invasive transitional cell carcinoma with sarcomatoid de-differentiation, high grade</strong></li><li><strong> No muscularis propria included to assess stage of the tumor.</strong></li></ul>
