Endometrial polyp and endometrium show hyperplastic endometrial glands, are non-secretory, formed of slightly branching glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within deep myometrium. Myometrial tumors are benign leiomyoma formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of tumor necrosis. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. One of these leiomyomas are seen entrapping benign endometrial glands and stroma with cystic dilatation consistent with adenomyomas. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts and mild endocervicitis with squamous metaplasia.
Menorrhagia with adenomyosis.
