<p class="ql-align-justify">Gall bladder wall shows mild to moderate fibrosis with focal mucosal ulceration and moderate infiltration by neutrophils, lymphocytes and plasma cells that extends into the surrounding soft tissue. Glands exhibit focal cystic dilatation and appear to be entrapped within muscular coat (Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses). No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Right hypochondrial pain associated with dyspepsia, diagnosed with gallstones.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Received opened gallbladder measuring 3.5x1.5 cm, showing ulcerated mucosal surface and a thickened wall measuring up to 0.3 cm in thickness.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gall bladder, cholecystectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Acute of top of chronic calcular cholecystitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy</strong></li></ul>
