<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections show cyst lined by several layers of polygonal luteinized cells with interstitial hemorrhage into wall. Fallopian tube is unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Multilocular ovarian cyst.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Ovary measuring 4.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm and an attached fallopian tube measuring 5 cm long. The outer surface was smooth. Sectioning of the ovary revealed a cyst measuring 1.5 x 1 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Salpingo-oopherectomy</u></em></strong>:</p><ul><li><strong>Hemorrhagic luteal cyst. </strong></li><li><strong>Unremarkable fallopian tube. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
