<p class="ql-align-justify">Intact colonic mucosa mildly infiltrated by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Mucigenic cells are intact. Some neutrophils are seen infiltrating glands but there is no evidence of crypt abscesses. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>

<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.6 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Colon, endoscopic biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Mild chronic colitis with minimal inflammatory activity. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for dysplasia and malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
