Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Superficial gastric mucosal fragments showing mild infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Diagnostic forms of H. pylori are not identified in the examined sections. Intestinal metaplasia is evident, however, no evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Epigastric pain. Endoscopy: severe gastric erythema with erosions and granularity.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.3 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Stomach, endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Superficial material, Mild chronic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for dysplasia.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p>
