<p class="ql-align-justify">Polyps are composed of cystic mucous glands with separating stroma showing dense infiltration by neutrophils, lymphocytes and plasma cells. There is focal ulceration of covering epithelium. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Multiple rectal polyps.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Received three polyps measuring in aggregate 1.5 x 1.3 x 0.9 cm, totally embedded. </p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rectal polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Juvenile inflammatory polyps. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
