Benign and highly vascular tumor of pituitary gland origin composed of thick trabeculae of proliferating round to ovoid cells. Focally tumor cells are arranged around blood vessels imparting pseudorosette pattern. Tumor cells are mostly cuboidal with eosinophilic cytoplasm. Wide areas of interstitial hemorrhage are also seen. No evidence of tumor necrosis or mitosis. No evidence of malignancy.
Well-defined space occupying mass lesion is seen growing at the sellar and suprasellar regions, it has the maximum SSXAPXCC dimensions of near 24x20x24mm, compresses the optic chiasm, and displaces the cavernous sinuses. Features of macroadenoma.
