Section show cyst lined by several layers of polygonal luteinized cells with interstitial hemorrhage into wall. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.
Fallopian tube shows fragments of degenerated decidua with immature edematous chorionic villi and associated severe interstitial hemorrhage. No evidence of fetal tissues. No evidence of tumors.
Ectopic tubal pregnancy with small ovarian cyst.
The specimen consisted of a fallopian tube measuring 5.5 x 1.5 cm. On sectioning, it showed a hemorrhagic cut surface. Also received separately was a piece of bloody soft tissue measuring 5 x 4.5 x 4 cm with a bloody color.
