Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Thyroid gland shows nodular hyperplasia where follicles are variable in size, full of thick colloid and lined by mature epithelium. There is focal follicular cystic change observed in the both lobe sections. Stroma shows fibrosis, interstitial hemorrhage and cholesterol crystals deposition. No evidence of hyperfunction or malignancy.</p>
<p>Rt. hemithyroidecyomy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. Hemithyroidectomy specimen measured 7.3x5.5x5 cm. Serial sectioning revealed multinodular hemorrhagic nodules measuring 0.3x0.3 - 2x1.5 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. Hemithyroidecyomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Nodular colloid hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
