<p class="ql-align-justify">An adenomatous polyp formed of tubular and villous glands lined by columnar cells with reduced mucigenic activity and focal moderate to marked dysplasia. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p>Proximal rectal polyp.</p><p><br></p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polyp measured 2 x 1.3 x 1 cm, totally embedded in one cassette. </p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rectal polyp, endoscopic biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Tubulovillous adenomatous polyp with high grade dysplasia. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></p><h5 class="ql-align-justify">Follow up is recommended since such lesions may be precancerous.</h5>
