<p class="ql-align-justify">Polyps are composed of cystic mucous glands with separating stroma showing dense infiltration by neutrophils, lymphocytes and plasma cells. There is focal ulceration of covering epithelium. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Bleeding per rectum. Two distal rectal polyps, removed by hot snare as endoscopic mucosal resection.</p>
<p>Two polyps collectivelly measured 0.5x0.4x0.2 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rectal polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Juvenile inflammatory polyps. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
