Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign well encapsulated tumor formed of proliferating breast ducts and stromal fibrocytes. In areas both component are represented equally (pericanalicular pattern) however, in other areas fibroblastic proliferation dominates thus compressing ducts into slit-like structures (intracanalicular pattern). No evidence of malignancy and excision looks complete.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Mobile hard mass in the inferior outer aspect of the left breast that had been present for two months.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Fibtofatty tissue measuring 10 x 8.5 x 8 cm. Sectioning revealed a solid, firm, greyish-white mass measuring 9 x 7.8 x 7.3 cm. Deep margin measured 0.7 cm. Superior, inferior, and medial margins each measured 0.3 cm, and the lateral margin measured 0.4 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Left Breast Mass, Excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Giant fibroadenoma, mixed type. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
