Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Malignant epithelial tumor infiltrating mature adipose tissue in both biopsies with no evidence of lymphoid architecture. The tumor displays solid, nested, and prominent micropapillary growth patterns embedded within a dense desmoplastic stroma containing focal calcifications. The tumor cells exhibit severe nuclear pleomorphism, high nuclear-to-cytoplasmic ratios, and frequent mitotic activity. Immunohistochemical correlation using <strong>PAX8, WT1, CK7, SATB2 and CDX2</strong> is recommended to confirm Müllerian lineage and definitively exclude a gastrointestinal primary.</p>
<p>Cancer ovary with peritoneal carcinomatosis.</p>
<p>Two biopsies were received:</p><p class="ql-align-justify">1- Lymph nodes biopsy from mesentery: two soft tissue fragments collectively measured 0.4x0.3x0.3 cm, totally embedded.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">2- Fat biopsy from colon: fatty soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.8x1.5x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Mesentery and colonic fat, biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Metastatic adenocarcinoma favouring a Müllerian primary origin, recommended for marker confirmation. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>No lymph node structures are identified. </strong></li></ul>
