Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections revealed a benign tumor showing proliferation of fibrocytes and Schwann cells with dominance of the latter. The cells are arranged in short bundles with exuberant palisading of nuclei of Schwann cells. Many ectatic blood vessels are seen. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Well defined intradural extredullary lesion centered on C7-D1 level within the thecal sac.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 2.2x2x0.8 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Intradural extredullary lesion, biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Schwannoma. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
