<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is non-secretory and hyperplastic, it is formed of branching glands exhibiting focal moderate crowdness and lined by 1-3 layers of cells. Glands show focal complexity of their contour. Stroma is cellular and showing thick wall blood vessels. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped deep within myometrium. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts and mild endocervicitis. Lt. ovary show cystic follicles. Rt. Ovary and fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Vaginal bleeding.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Panhysterectomy specimen: the uterus measured 9.5 x 7 x 5 cm, the cervix measured 3 cm in length. On sectioning, the myometrial wall thickness measured 2.5 cm, showed small solid fibroid measured 1x1 cm, and the endometrium measured 0.8 cm in thickness. Left ovary measured 2.8x2x1.5 cm, showed five small cystic cavities. The right ovary measured 3 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm, and the right and left fallopian tubes measured 5 cm, each, all of which appeared unremarkable grossly.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Panhysterectomy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate adenomatous (complex) endometrial hyperplasia. Negative for atypia. </strong></li><li><strong>Deep adenomyosis.</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cysts with mild endocervicitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Lt. ovarian cystic follicles. </strong></li><li><strong>Rt. ovary and fallopian tubes are unremarkable.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
