<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium shows hyperplastic endometrial glands is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branching and moderately cystic glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts and moderate endocervicitis. Separately submitted part of vaginal wall is unremarkable. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. </p>
<p>Abnormal vaginal bleeding.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total vaginal Hysterectomy: The uterus measured 7 x 4 x 3 cm, and the cervix measured 3.5 cm. Upon sectioning, the myometrial wall measured 1.5 cm in maximum thickness, and the endometrium measured 0.3 cm in thickness. Received separately is a single, grey-colored piece of soft tissue measuring 4 x 3 x 0.8 cm.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy</u></em></strong>:</h3><ul><li><strong>Mild simple cystic endometrial hyperplasia without atypia </strong></li><li><strong>Superficial adenomyosis. </strong></li><li><strong>Nabothian cyts with moderate endocervicitis.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
