<p>Immunostaining was done with appropriate positive and negative controls and revealed:</p><ul><li>SMA is diffusely positive.</li><li>S-100 and CK stains occasional cells.</li><li>Desmin, Myogenin, SATB2, P63, SOX10 are negative.</li><li>Ki-67 labeling index is about 20%.</li></ul>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Referred block for immunostaining of Rt. mandibular lytic lesion with cortical erosion and calcification, diagnosed as unclassified spindle cell sarcoma, recommended for subtyping by marker study ( pathology number 2737-2026 on 3rd May 2026).</p>
<p>One referred paraffin block coded 2737-2026).</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Mandibular lytic lesion, excision biopsy and immunostaining:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Confirmatory of leiomyosarcoma, grade 2. </strong></li></ul>
