Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign well encapsulated cystic tumor formed of small and large follicles full of colloid and lined by unremarkable cuboidal cells. Adjacent thyroid tissue is compressed. No evidence of hyperfunction or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Thyroid swelling. </p>
<p>Rt. hemithyroidectomy specimen measured 6x4x2.5 cm. Capsule is intact. Serial sectioning revealed cystic nodule filled with bloody fluid measuring 4x2.5x2.3 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. Hemithyroidectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong> Follicular cystadenoma.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
