Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and covered by focally ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium with related areas of squamous metaplasia. Stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows focal infiltration by inflammatory cells. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Cervical erosion with cervical polyp.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two soft tissue fragments collectively measured 2x1.5x1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Endocervical polypectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp with areas of squamous metaplasia.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
