<p class="ql-align-justify">Cystic lesion with lining by non-keratininzed stratified squamous epithelium and abundance of lymphoid tissue in the fibrotic wall. In areas wall of cyst shows infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy</p>
<p>Left neck mass.</p><p class="ql-align-justify">Ultrasound of the neck shows a fluid-filled cyst in the lower front section of the left parotid salivary gland that connects directly to the skin surface.</p>
<p>Cyst 3x2x1.8 cm, filled with viscid material with intact capsule.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Neck swelling, excision biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Branchial cyst, inflamed. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
