Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">A benign well encapsulated tumor formed of proliferating breast ducts and stromal fibrocytes. In areas both component are represented equally (pericanalicular pattern) however, in other areas fibroblastic proliferation dominates thus compressing ducts into slit-like structures (intracanalicular pattern). Adjacent breast tissue showing breast tissue shows preserved normal lobular pattern with stromal fibrosis and adenosis. Cytologic features are unremarkable. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Left breast cystic mass.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Soft tissue mass measuring 7 x 5 x 3 cm, having solid rubbery greyish cut section.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Lt. Breast mass, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Fibroadenoma, mixed type. </strong></li><li><strong>Fibroadenosis</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
