A multinodular and partly encapsulated tumor of minor salivary gland origin, nodules are formed of myxoid stroma with stellate cells and chondroid areas. Periphery of nodules show proliferating ductal and myoepithelial cells arranged in solid groups, small trabeculae and ductal formation. No evidence of malignancy, however due to multinodularity and partial encapsulation, local recurrence may occur.
