<ul><li class="ql-align-justify">Fallopian tube shows fragments of degenerated decidua with immature edematous chorionic villi and associated severe interstitial hemorrhage. No evidence of fetal tissues. No evidence of tumors.</li><li class="ql-align-justify"> The appendicular wall shows an inflammatory infiltrate composed of lymphocytes and plasma cells in between the mucosal associated lymphoid tissue. Such chronic infiltrate extends to the periappendicular fat. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of appendicular tumors.</li></ul>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Right ectopic pregnancy that presented with right iliac fossa pain</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Received was a fallopian tube that measured 5 x 1.3 cm and was grey in color (designated as A). Also received was a separate hemorrhagic soft tissue piece that measured 2.5 x 1.8 cm (designated as B). Additionally, there was a separate appendix that measured 5 x 0.7 cm with attached fat that measured 3 cm. The appendix showed an ulcerated grey color and had a wall thickness that measured 0.3 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Salpingectomy</u></em></strong>:<strong> </strong></p><ul><li><strong> Ectopic tubal gestation. </strong></li></ul><h3><strong><em><u>Appendectomy: </u></em></strong></h3><ul><li><strong>Chronic appendicitis with periappendicitis.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
