<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. oopherectomy with omentectomy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Received was a specimen designated as an ovarian mass measuring 8.5 x 8 x 6 cm; a fallopian tube was not identified. Serial sectioning revealed a solid, firm, creamy-colored mass measuring 7 x 6.5 x 5 cm with a ruptured outer surface. A cyst measuring 3.5 cm in greatest dimension was identified. Also received an omentectomy specimen measuring 12 x 8 x 1.5 cm, showing multiple nodular masses, the largest of which measured 2.3 cm.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p><strong><em><u>Ovary (Rt.), oophorectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Consistent with undifferentiated carcinoma, grade 3. </strong></li><li><strong>Recommended for confirmatory marker study. </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>Omentum, omentectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Positive for metastatic deposits.</strong></li></ul>
