<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is non-secretory, it is formed of slightly branching glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Myometrial tumors are benign leiomyomas formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles and separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of malignancy.Cervix shows Nabothian cysts with moderate endocervicitis. Lt ovary cyst lined by several layers of polygonal luteinized cells with interstitial hemorrhage into wall. Fallopian tube is unremarkable. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Menorrhagia.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total hysterectomy with unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy specimen; The uterus measured 17 x 14 x 10 cm, with myometrial thickness 5 cm. The cervix measured 3 cm in length. The endometrial cavity was filled almost entirely by multiple fibroid masses, with the largest measuring 7 x 7 x 5.5 cm. The Lt. ovary measured 3 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm, with unilocular cyst measuring 1.5 cm. Lt. fallopian tube measured 5 cm long, unremarkable grossly.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy with Lt. salpingo-oophorectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Mild simple endometrial hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Leiomyoma</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cysts and moderate chronic non specific endocervicitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Lt. Ovary hemorrhagic luteal cyst. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia and malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
