A multinodular and partly encapsulated tumor of parotid gland, nodules are formed of myxoid stroma with stellate cells and chondroid areas. Periphery of nodules show proliferating ductal and myoepithelial cells arranged in solid groups, small trabeculae and ductal formation. No evidence of malignancy.
A parotid mass with cystic features, present for 10 years, presenting without associated pain, without lymphadenopathy, and with a normal facial nerve, highly suggestive of a pleomorphic adenoma or a mucoepidermoid carcinoma.
