Diagnosis
<p>Polypoid gastric mucosa showing moderate infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells but no evidence of neutrophils indicating absence of activity. H. pylori characteristic forms are seen colonizing glands. No evidence of intestinal metaplasia, atypia or malignancy. </p>
<p>Gastric antral congested mucosa and prepyloric sessile polyp. </p>
<p>Fragments of collective size 4x3 mm. </p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gastric pre-pyloric sessile polyp, endoscopic excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>H. pylori-associated inflammatory polyp.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia and malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
