Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Breast tissue shows preserved normal lobular pattern with stromal fibrosis and adenosis. Breast ducts show mild to moderate periductal infiltration by lymphocytes, plasma cells, macrophages and neutrophils. Areas of related fat necrosis are seen. Cytologic features are unremarkable. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Rt. breast retromammary intraductal nodule, more with benign process with focal ductal dilatation BIRDADS IVa.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Core fragments collectively measured 1 cm, long, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. breast nodule, Tru-cut biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Periductal mastitis (non-specific). </strong></li><li><strong>Associated fat necrosis.</strong></li><li><strong> Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
