<p class="ql-align-justify">Gall bladder wall shows moderate fibrosis and focally ulcerated mucosal lining with related moderate to focally marked infiltrate of lymphocytes, plasma cells and abundant foamy histiocytes. Such infiltration is extending to peri-cholecystic fat with related vascular congestion and interstitial hemorrhage. Glands exhibit focal cystic dilatation and appear to be entrapped within muscular coat (Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses). No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Contracted gall bladder full of stones.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gall bladder received open measuring 7x2 cm, showing ulcerated mucosa and thickened wall up to 0.4 cm, full of multiple yellow stones.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gall bladder, cholecystectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Chronic calcular cholecystitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
