<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is non-secretory and hyperplastic, it is formed of branching glands exhibiting focal moderate crowdness with complexity of pattern and lining by 2-3 layers of cells amid cellular stroma. No evidence of atypia or malignancy. Some of these hyperplastic glands are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Rubbery area revealed myometrial tumor, a benign leiomyoma formed of whorly bundles of mature smooth muscles and separated by a fibrous stroma. No evidence of malignancy. Cervix shows Nabothian cysts with mild endocervicitis. Lt. ovary shows cystic follicles. Lt. fallopian tube is unremarkable. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Abnormal uterine bleeding.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total abdominal hysterectomy with unilateral (right) salpingo-oophorectomy specimen: The uterus measured 7.5 x 6 x 4.5 cm. On sectioning, the myometrium measured 2.3 cm in thickness, showing solid rubbery area ???fibroid measuring 1 x 0.8 cm. The endometrium measured 0.5 cm in thickness. The cervix measured 2.8 cm in length. Right ovary and fallopian tube measured 2x1.5x1 cm and 5 cm, respectively.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify"><strong><em><u>Total abdominal hysterectomy with unilateral (right) salpingo-oophorectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate adenomatous (complex) endometrial hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Superficial adenomyosis</strong></li><li><strong>Leiomyoma</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cysts and mild chronic non specific endocervicitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Left ovarian cystic follicle. </strong></li><li><strong>Unremarkable left fallopian tube. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia and malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
