<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node shows involvement by confluent bare non-caseating granulomas formed of epithelioid cells with few Langhan's giant cells and few lymphocytes. Picture is consistent with sarcoidosis. Confirmation of etiology is recommended by estimation of serum level of angiotensin converting enzyme. Microbiological studies and tuberculin testing are also recommended for definitive exclusion of the remote possibility of a tuberculous etiology. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Generalized lymphadanopathy. Biopsy from Rt. cervical lymph node.</p>
<p>Lymph node measured 3x1.7x1.5 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Rt. cervical lymph node excision biopsy: </u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Non-caseating granulomatous lymphadenitis, consistent with sarcoidosis. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
