<p>Polypoid lesion formed of hyperplastic crowded glands with preserved mucigenic activity. Stroma is fibrotic and shows moderate chronic inflammatory reaction composed of lymphocytes and plasma cells. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Ampullary mass.</p>
<p>Fragments of collective size 6x5 mm.</p>
<p><br></p><p><strong><em><u>Ampullary mass, endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hyperplastic polyp, inflamed.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy.</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></p><p><strong>If malignancy is still suspicious, please consider deeper or guioded rebiopsy to avoid missing of unsampled more srious pathology.</strong></p>
