Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of moderately branching and focally crowded glands separated by cellular stroma and lined by 2-3 layers of cells. No evidence of atypia. Groups of such hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within deep myometrium. Cervix show Nabothian cyst with mild endo. Fallopian tubes are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Chronic pelvic pain.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total hysterectomy specimen; the uterus measures 8.5x6x4 cm with a myometrial thickness of 2 cm and an endometrial thickness of 0.5 cm. The cervix is 3.5 cm long.<span style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34);"> Both fallopian tubes were received separately measuring 3.3 cm and 2.5 cm. </span></p>
<p><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia.</strong></li><li><strong>Deep adenomyosis.</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cyst with mild endo-cervicitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia or malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
