Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Polypoid lesion composed of hyperplastic endocervical mucous glands and covered by focally ulcerated columnar endocervical epithelium. Stroma is fibrotic and vascular and shows focal infiltration by inflammatory cells with related areas of squamous metaplasia. No evidence of endometrial tissue. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Contact Bleeding,with a fluid collection in the posterior cul-de-sac.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two polypoid soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1.5x1x0.7 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Cervical polyp, excision:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Inflamed hyperplastic endocervical polyp. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
