Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Sections from dermal/subcutaneous nodule showing cellular soft tissue tumor formed of fascicles and inter-dissecting bundles of spindle cells. Stroma showing is focally edematous and shows focal infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. No evidence of tumor necrosis or active mitosis. Picture is consistent with a spindle cell lesion. Margins of excision are free and excision looks complete. Possibilities of this lesion include; neurofibroma, cutaneous leiomyoma and nodular fasciitis. Marker study (S-100 protein, SMA and KI-67 ) is recommended for subtyping.</p>
<p>Right leg lesion.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">A piece of soft tissue partially covered by skin, measuring 2.3 x 1 x 0.7 cm, shows dermal and subcutaneous rubbery nodule 1.5 x 0.7 cm with grayish tan cut section, away 0.4 cm from least circumferential margin. .</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Right leg lesion., excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Bland looking cutaneous spindle cell lesion.</strong></li><li><strong>Recommended for typing by marker study. </strong></li></ul>
