<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node shows preserved normal nodal pattern and hyperplasia of the lymphoid follicles which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. Sinuses are expanded by numerous benign histiocytes consistent with sinus histiocytosis and anthracosis. There is associated inflammatory cell infiltrate in subcapsular areas of lymph node with extension into perinodal fibrofatty tissue. No evidence of specific granulomas.No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Intussusception with Mesoadenitis, Laparotomy, Mesenteric L.N. Biopsy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Two soft tissue fragments measured 2.3x1.5x1 cm and 1x0.8x0.5 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Mesenteric Lymph node, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reactive follicular lymphoid hyperplasia with sinus histiocytosis and lymphadenitis with periadenitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
