Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Gastric mucosa showing superficial erosions with marked infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. There is evidence of inflammatory activity manifested by some neutrophils infiltrating glands. H. pylori characteristic forms are seen. Focal intestinal metaplasia is noted, however there is no evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Large gastric incisoral ulcer extending to the subcardia.</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<h3><strong><em><u>Stomach, Endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></h3><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>H. pylori associated chronic erosive gastritis with associated moderate inflammatory activity and focal intestinal metaplasia. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for dysplasia or malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
