<p>There is severe ulceration of colonic mucosa with reduced mucigenic cells and related dense infiltration by neutrophils and lymphocytes, amounting at crypt abscess formation in some areas. No evidence of dysplasia. No evidence of malignancy.</p>
<p>Anorectal theckining. Colonoscopy: multiple colonic ulcers with cobblestone appearance and skip areas, r/o IBD.</p>
<p>Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Colon, endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Ulcerative colitis.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for dysplasia and malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
