<p class="ql-align-justify">Gall bladder wall shows moderate fibrosis with focal mucosal ulceration and moderate infiltration by neutrophils, lymphocytes and plasma cells that extends into the surrounding soft tissue. Glands exhibit focal cystic dilatation and appear to be entrapped within muscular coat (Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses). No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Severe adhesions of gall bladder to liver with large stone.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Received gallbladder measuring 5x2.5 cm, showing ulcerated mucosal surface and a thickened wall measuring up to 0.3 cm in thickness, with multiple stone largest measured 2.5 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gall bladder, cholecystectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Acute of top of chronic calcular cholecystitis. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy</strong></li></ul>
