Gastric mucosa showing mild infiltration by lymphocytes and plasma cells. Neutrophils are seen infiltrating some glands thus indicating activity. H. pylori characteristic forms are present. There is no evidence of intestinal metaplasia, atypia or malignancy.
Epigastric pain. Normal stomach by endoscopy, biopsy done to exclude any pathology.
Soft tissue fragments collectively measured 1 cm, totally embedded.
